Which is better?

2 of these

Aquarium Lighting for Freshwater and Reef Systems: Nova Extreme Compact T-5 System

I have one 18" already. I could also probably get the 24" one so I could get 12 watts more of light for not much more $ They don't get real hot. The bulbs are cheaper. I loose less water from evaporation then. Each are 36 watt even though it says 40 watts that's an error.

or this

Aquarium Lighting for Nano Reef Aquariums: Viper HQI Metal Halide Clamp Lamp

I would get 2 more watts or 14 more with the 24" one with the 2 T-5s than the 70 watt Halide. The Halide would cost me a lot more. I want to increase my wattage though so I can grow more corals and quicker

Thanks!

To me a nano is just a stepping stone to a larger system.Do you really want to spend that kind of money on the Viper?I would go with the Nova and stick with mainly softies and maybe a few LPS corals.

To answer your question ''Which is better''.....the viper.
