white worm

i discovered another critter tonite with my flashlight. it was a white worm about an inch long. he swims like you wouldn't believe. and extremely fast. he swam around for a few seconds, fell on the sand and played dead for a few minutes and got back up and went at it again. this time like he acted like he was trying to get through the tank and get my flashlight. he had a lot of filament like legs that he used to swim with. and when on the sand he crawled simalar to a centepede. couldn't get a pic. my wife went out of town for the weekend and took the camera. any clues?

newb, he looks similar to the sigalionidae. i can't tell exactly because i wasn't looking at mine under magnafication like the pictures are. i don't remember seeing any red coloring on mine. but the body resembles it a lot.

hopefully mine won't bother any either yote. i have noticed a few hermit crabs masacre here later. i don't know if it could be the worm, my emerald crab, or natural causes
