Sorry to hear that bad news. I can only say try to learn what happened so you have something to take away and it never happens again. Power out? Temp off? Chems off? Predator (like a Mantis)?

That sucks. Power outages can kill tank inhabitants in a few hours. Usually it's the temperature drop and lack of flow.
