hi just been sitting observing my tank when i noticed a worm from the bit that was over the sand was 6 inches long but think it still had half its body under the rocks and it had what appear to be small legs running the lenght of its body are these safe in my tank and what are they called !!!!!

Sounds like a bristleworm. They're good guys.

They eat all the junk you want to get rid of. Nasty looking critters though!

thanks just have seen some little ones but this one was huge compared to the others i have seen !!!

It's amazing how well hidden their true size is. Those worms know how to hide!
