yellow watchman goby?

    hey i hve ordered a yellow watchman goby and i was wandering do they stay at the bottom of the tank most of the time cause i never had one thanks

    Not really. The move around the tank, but they perch on rocks and corals and stuff. They don't really swim around in the open.

    mine never comes more than 2" off the bottom. Most of the time he goes from cave to cave. He'll try to "defend" his caves when someone comes close. He opens his little mouth and flares a fin. He forgets that he is the smallest in the tank. So my wrasses or the angel will call him on it and act like they are gonna go at him and he darts into a cave.

    I love sand sifting gobies. I should get another one for my tank. They are so fun to watch.
