I got a full size blue damsel from a fellow reefer that was giving him away, i thought it would be a good idea to put it in my sons tank with his clown, which is still pretty small, well after being in there with him for around 8 hours i fed them and he started beating up the clown pretty good...

Is reef crystals salt marcah pricey for a 5 gallon pail?

Okay so it's taken me till today to figure out and fix my low calcium and high alk , I tested my saltwater before putting it in my tank and it's super low in calcium and high in alk,I have been dosing a ton in that water to increase and decrease my parameters now I am slowly taking out a gallon...

I'm using instant ocean salt which sucks but wanna use it all up,I'm using salifert kits , also i have been doing water changes weekly .

For filtration i use nothing just use my hob as mini sumps and put heaters etc in to keep it clean .

I also have the AI leds definitely worth saving for if you can afford it that way like andersoned said you wont have to upgrade to a better light system or if you want to down grade or upgrade in the future you can still use the lights on any size system just need either more or less lights.
