yes he is eating fine now and acting fine. the first day or two that i noticed the red he was withdrawn from the other fish and not really eating... the reddness is about the same though.

the other fish and all inverts look fine, the perameters are all good. ammonia is at 0, nitrite is .1 and nitrate is low temp is 77.5

i keep my heater at 78 and its been fine. but my heater went out and the water temp went down to 67. i have raised it back up but should i b worried? i have kenya trees and zoas and lots of fish.

thank you i will have to check that website out when it isn't under constuction. :) the rock we have from the reservoir is porous but im not sure the geology of the rock. i really dont think its agronite based.

We are setting up a 125 and instead of buying a bunch of live rock to fill it we were wondering if we could use rock from our local reservoir. we have 6 reservoirs and each has lots of big rocks. would it be safe to use this rock or would it be bad for a salt water aquarium?

i understand. we ended up trying the nox-ich yesterday lowering the dose and the spots were gone after about an hour or so. today no spots and the blue hippo is being alot more social with the clowns and the yellow tang isn't try to attack it. Im not saying the problem is resolved i understand...

Right now the tangs are really small and the guy at the lfs said that our tank is fine for now but we will have to upgrade in the next 6 months which we plan to do. thanks for the advice :)

the only way that i know would be to put it on volts ac and put the black to a ground like the round part of ur electrical plug and the red lead where it hurt, and yes im an electrician for 12 years so hopefully this help.
