I got a CPR overflow box and it was very noisy. If you have an overflow that is noisy this standpipe might help. It works great on mine. Here is the link

thanks for the tip. maybe that's why I never could get one to work right for me. I was using 1" pipe instead of 1 1/4"

I actually make my 1" pipe work. I did'nt drill a whole in the cap that goes on top! I tried it with the cap on and the cap off. it allways made flushing/gurgling noises either way. so, I just ditched the standpipe and ran the foam filter to quiet it down. now with two small wholes in the top it works like a champ!
