My First Fish

I added my first fish to my newly cycled 40 gallon.....Salarias fasciatus or more commonly the Lawnmower Blenny. Don't have a picture yet, but here is a link

Talk about a saltwater cow there.Them things love hair algae.

Oh man those things have an appetite! When I got mine it had a tank filled with hair algae... added Brian the blenny and he cleared up the forests of hair algae with in a week! After he ran out of hair algae he started eating flake food only... he doesnt eat sheets or frozen food much. But he loves the flakes.

Two days in and Phineas is doing great!...after about 20 minutes in the tank when I first put him in on Tuesday, he starting smacking the live rock and ripping at the algae...I'm sure my rocks will be clean in a few weeks :)
