Powerhead?

I have a 20 gallon long tank and I have some problems with brown alge and I was wondering if having a power head would help with that?

How old is the tank?
and your tank should be getting turned over using powerheads, around 20 to 30x per hour..

You should have at least one, possibly two (for a long tank) powerheads in your tank anyways. It should definitely help with algae, as will using RODI water, not overfeeding and not overstocking (and it doesn't sound like you are overstocked). :)

I just finished my cycle like two weeks ago and Its a little more then a month old

probably still going through diatoms which will disappear..
just have a good clean up crew and turn the tank over like I said earlier and you should be fine..
