removing hose

any ideas on how to remove this old hose that is connected to a pvc peice its been on for a long time replacing with a new hose its from my overflow down to my wet dry system its a hose with a plastic adapter

You don't need to save/reuse the hose right? Cut it right at the fitting leaving just the ring over the fitting, then turn your knife 90* and cut it along the fitting. Otherwise, heat the tube in boiling water and pull.

ya so im gonna take the entire overflow off put it in the tub with hot water try that really dont wanna break or cut it off just in case the new hose doesnt fit or the pvc pipe breaks theres no home depot open lol
