Hey guys I am building a sump for my 55 gallon tank. I am building a 20 gallon sump, I was wondering what type of skimmer would be good for that? I prefer a good ne that won't break the bank. Thanks and please answer!

How much space do you have above the sump? If it's going in the stand, you will have to get a skimmer that is short enough to fit in the stand, where you can still remove the cup.

Well it's going inside the stand which is above 20in kinda small ....

I use a algae scrubber instead of a skimmer. Check out the DIY section they are easy and cheap to build and work great.

See if you could find a smaller and affordable cone type skimmer. They work great.
