Used protein skimmer

Hey, I was just wondering if it is worth buying a used protein skimmer. Or can they become useless after time. It's a Berlin skimmer.

I bought mines used from the lfs years ago, and it's still going strong. Just make sure it works and doesn't leak or anything before you purchase it.

Hells yeah. I. Bought mine used as well, in fact most of my equipment is used. Do like Smitty said, check for leaks, and look at the pump.
