yea, the glass itself is ok to do for just me, but i was wondering do you think its best to remove everything in the tank and store it separately, ie rocks, fish, anemones, sand...?

two questions i have for you guys, one being, i was just wondering the different ways that people do to do water changes on 55g and larger tanks? what is the easiest method that everybody thinks? because this is an ongoing task everybody has to do, just was wondering how everybody else does it...

so i have a pair of false clownfish, and i dont know if the bigger of the two is sick or what? at night i notice they both "sleep" in the corner of the tank but even during the daytime the little one and all the other fish swim around like normal, but the larger clown stays in the corner not...

ok so, the weirdest thing, i posted this message before i went to work, and now i get home, to see basically all that red stuff is not there anymore!? its the strangest thing too because for the last few days it was there, like really noticable, and now i get home from work and, bam! all gone...

i feed them usually once or twice a day, marine 2 pellets and some brine shrimp, still have the original 4 damsels ( cant get those bastards out) so i just leave them, they seem to get along fine with the others...also have a pac. blue tang, 2 clown fish, 15 or so snails, green emerald crab...

nitrate is about 10ppm...its kinda like a carpet i would say, it kinda covers some spots on the sandbed...also in the darker red areas theres kinda like this hair stuff? and it kinda like sways with the current and whatnot, im gonna try and get this photo up but have to go to work in a little...

i have two pics of it, i just cant seem to upload them onto the host server? all the water params are in check, the nitrate is a little higher than usual...

its like a red algae type stuff thats on the bottom floor and on some of the live rock, somebody said it might be caused by having the lights on too long, so i reduced the lighting schedule and cleaned all the "algae"? off and alast, its back...somebody also said it might be due to the lack of...

no not really, have about 40 lbs LR and a small zoas frag and 1 individual purple mushroom thats about the size of a dime... i currently have the current usa lights, 2 X 65 and the blues i believe is 10K with a lunar light...i will be upgrading the lighting either late on or when i buy a...

i think im leaving my lights on too much, because there is starting to become red algae over some of the rocks and ground, do you think it could be because i am running the lights too long? i run the white light for like 11 hrs and the blue lights for about 12...should i reduce them some? what...

yea, i can only find the one piece, and even that isn't looking too good, man for such a easy thing to maintain, the hardest part is getting it going!

i got some xenia stalks from my buddies tank...got 4 pieces all together and placed them throughout the tank on different pieces of LR, woke up this morning, and i can only spot one of them? would it have moved around, or maybe the current swept it away or something and its now under some piece...

its 30" wide, roughly 24" tall and about 18" deep, its a giant box, not really rectangular shaped like the majority of the 55's... im thinking just mh for now and then im planning on buying a bigger tank, thats when i'll buy the high high powered lights

yea it is defeinitely deeper than 18", probably about 24 or so...what would be a good MH unit to get, i do plan on getting so sps and lps later down the road, all i have now/will have in the near future is zoas, mushrooms, xenia....
