The tank that I am in the process of setting up is a 29gal. It will have a canopy, and I am planning on having live rock, anemonies, and clowns in it. Are flourescents and actinics good enough? What about watts? Would I need 2 of each (one 15in of each on each side of canopy)? Thanks!

You are correct, he probably would starve if you don't have enough pods for both... regardless of the starving, if YOU don't like them there is no point in getting it! I guess that is why it was not mentioned as one of your choices :) therefore, I say go for the flame!

"I use Salifert for alkalinity, dKH, calcium,..." is dkH refering to hardness? I know that hardness relates to calcium and magnesium in the water, but did not know if that is what dkH was.
