    I'm new!

Thanks guys. The camera settings weren't very good - I was still getting used to it at the time. I'll try and get some better ones over Christmas though! :)

Thanks again everyone, it's lovely to find a nice community around even though I doubt I'm from the same places as you all are! I'll try and get a few pics up over the next few days but don't expect much! It's just a load of softies!!! :o

    I've identified my coral...

lol, definitely a Pavona. What is a fairy monti? I've heard of people calling digitata 'fuzzy', but I think someone may be confusing this Pavona with a hairy 'milli' (Millipora). :)

    quick camera question

I'd go for the canon. I'm using a 300D which is old now but still manages some good shots. I'd always go for canon tbh, Nikon just don't fit with my hands but canon lenses (in my eyes) are far superior to Nikon or the others. JMO of course, but canon all the way for me!

    I've identified my coral...

Yep, pavona. Lovely corals that will demonstrate some lovely growth patterns. I don't have any due to my angel deciding to eat everything but softies but I do like them. They look stunning when in big colonies. Good luck with it - keep it under intense lighting and good strong flow to get most...

The Mystery of the Disappearing Stars...

These are fine, in fact some people even buy them in the UK. They're great little cleaners and I find them all over my glass in the morning, don't try and sump them, you'll be wasting your time - there are most likely hundreds more that you can't see. Leave them in and watch them clean I...
