Welcome to the board .... New tank syndrom , is hard to over come .. I have had my 36gal bow set up for 6 or 7 weeks and I have added 1 firefish , 1 mandarin goby , 2 feather dusters , I removed 1 yellowtailed damsel I used to cycle with ... I also had 1 banded coral shrimp , he lasted...

Pod shelters ...lol ... that is kinda funny really , but it makes sense .. If I could find some live rock with pods already growing that would help .... I think the Mandarin is eating the brine shrimp though .. He is going around picking stuff off the bottom after I feed , and then you see...

well the shrimp didn't survive .. I am not sure what happened to him :-( I feel so bad he was doing very well was eating frozen brine shrimp and seemed happy until he mautled :-( After that his decline was so rapid I didn't have a chance to save him ... I am not sure what exactly happened there...

Hey I went out and wasted money ... lol.. Well not actually wasted money but I got things for my tank :-) I picked up a coralife lighting system ( probably not enough light for clams ) but good for me as a begginer .. It has 10K , atinics and lunar leds , I got a prism deluxe skimmer , not sure...

By the way do you think that will be toooo much lighting for the Zoo's ? I really like the color variations on them things and can see covering my rock with many different colors :-) So many choices and not enough tank space ... just starting out and already need more room ......lol

Cool.. Any ideas how to build a hood around the retro fit lighting system .. ? I just thought the $299 price for the 36" retro fit was a steal on that lighting system was the only reason I was considering it :-) I can't even find the same retro in the 24" system for anywhere near that price...

I guess I will get the MH lights or T-5's to start with .. :-) Just have to wait till late rin the process caue I need a skimmer bbefore anything else :-) thanks :-)
