Wow after reading most of it, I came up with the conclusion that I do not feed my fishes alot, I just look at there bellies, they look pretty full to me I feed them once maybe twice a day everyother day. Any ways great looking tank and the project is looking great. A lot of help is being given...

I also had this happen to me at one time, I did a lot of water changes and still got the same results, after adding more rock and feeding a bit less the nitrates went down, oh and I also added another skimmer, what a difference in the water and fishes. Good luck this was a big headae for me...

My Naso tang is very peaceful just worries about food and nothing else, it even eats of my hands. You gotta love them

Mines peck at me but they do not do it any any other fish

Naso are hardy and easy going fish I love mines the first tang I got was a naso in my tank peaceful and lke to swim in the open, I had a samll problem at first with water quality with Nitrites and it came through with no problems

And all this time I was trying to get rid of them thinking they were bad. oops!!!

Nice tank, sorry to get off topic but has you Lion fish stung any of your fishes. I saw a panther grouper get stung the other day that thing started jumping everywhere splashing water everywhere, it died within minutes.
