I have a skimmer and a filter...not sure if that's what you mean by water movement... I'm just so confused since the levels have stayed relatively good this whole time...

I did add them all at once.... the aquarium store said I could do three but no more. In any case, my levels never spiked really high, only the small spike like I mentioned, and he seemed totally fine when I went to bed last night. Is there anything I can do now?

My damsel is sitting near the bottom of the tank a lot and he looks like he's breathing pretty heavily. Is he dying? This is my first time so I'm totally new and only know what I do from this forum and the aquarium store...but I'm freaking out! He's beautiful and calm I don't want him to be sick...

I have frozen mysis shrimp in cubes.... do I just plop a cube in? The store said 1 cube once a day at first and watch and see if I need to add more...but I totally spaced and didn't even think to ask if I just plop it in or what.... Thanks!

My 15 gallon tank has been set up for three weeks now and it looks like it has cycled. I had the aquarium store test the water and they said I'm good to go, and I've noticed white spots on the sides of my glass - upon closer inspection I saw that they are actually super tiny little snails...

Glad I'm not the only one!

Great thanks! And yes, reading helped for sure...don't worry I don't plan on putting in my fish for awhile...the sooner the better so I'm hoping for a couple of weeks but I don't want to risk it so I won't be in any rush!

Really? Dang... you'd think they would help set you up with the correct stuff. Since it's only 15 gallon do you think I need a skimmer? I noticed it seemed like someone else on here thought I didn't.... I'm open to anything, especially since so far I know nothing, haha

Wow thanks so much everyone! I am glad to hear I can just wait it out! And overnight it did get much better!! I am sure another day or two and it will be clear. I bought really fine sand... like when I go to the beach at the ocean, so that is probably why it's taking so long. A few asked...

I've been doing a lot of reading so far and have learned a lot...but no one else seems to have made the same mistake as me. I explain in more detail later if you are curious but quick read version: I put in my water first, and the next day turned off the filter and then put in my live sand...
