I was wondering what everyone likes best as far as bulbs for a reef tank. TrueLumen T5HO Fluorescent Bulb or ATI T5HO Fluorescent Bulbs? Also If you could give me some good light combos. I have a 4 bulb fixture?

what if I take some rubble rock and add to my filter until I can get some of those balls?

What do the balls do what live rock wont? I hear other people use some sort of bio balls and I think the aqua clear comes with something like that also just did not know what they were used for.

I am thinking of starting a nano reef. I have a 20 long and an extra bio wheel around. What should I do with the bio wheel as far as filter media and filter floss? If I understand this correctly filter cartridge can cause all kinds of problems with nitrates? I know that live rock and water...

Not so much the Boss lol Its more living in a condo that I don't own. I don't want to mess with the plumbing and don't really want to hook it up to my washer for overflow.

what kind of HOB skimmer should I get?? one that will actually work? all the HOB I saw have bad things about them. so I don't know what to think.

why would my filter be a nitrate factory? don't media in the sump get just as much nitrates as a HOB filter?

I have 3 fish I feed a few times a week with some pellets. I have aqueon power filters and I change my filter cartridge every few weeks to a month. and 5-10% water changes every week.
