So for the pair of clowns: Is it O.K. to put them both in the FOWLR tank right after the cycle is over?

    90 Gal tank??????

Regardless of size it's overcrowded. And is that a fire coral on the top of that rock?

    First Fish... Ever!

Dcantucson: I don't have a tank yet :P I'm just in the research stage. I am assuming I'm going to get a 65-95 gal and start it out as a FOWLR, and then move to soft coral and eventually hard.

O.K, thanks. Does anyone have anything to say about Royal Grammas, I like those too :) (Also called Fairy Basslets)

Wow, the website I went to said it was the only damselfish that really let everything else be other than other damselfish. Ok, well how about a pair of Perculas or False Perculas?

How good of a choice would the Blue Sapphire Damselfish be as a first fish?

    Lots more questions.

Alright to number 1. That is how I assumed but that is rather expensive :P 2. Hermit crabs and snails are reef-safe, yes? 3. Gotcha. 4. What types of lights will I need for FOWLR/Reef?

    Lots more questions.

    1. How do online fish stores ship fish? I can't think of a way that wouldn't be extremely expensive or risky... 2. Are invertebrates usually considered in the Reef Safe or Aggressive category? 3. Are anemones considered coral? 4. Is starting with a FOWLR and then switching to reef recommended?

What are some calcium-based rock types you can find in Utah? (If any?)

Another question: When turning dead rock into live rock, is it O.K. to just put a rock from the backyard or w/e in the tank?

Solarfall: I'm looking for a tank in that range, so it doesn't matter if it's exact. I just wanted to make sure this thing isn't going to take up the whole basement.

Oh... Now I get why you need it :P I'm assuming live sand is pretty much the same. Ok... next question. What are the dimensions likely to be for an 80gal?

Oh, ok. I'm still wondering what live rock IS though..

Thanks for informing me that it is a necessity. Now... What exactly IS it? What is and RO filter? I heard you can use tap water as long as you filter it. What type of filter are we talking about?

I've been reading quite a few articles. I would like to start a reef tank in the 60-90 gal range and I was wondering... What exactly IS live rock? Is it absolutely necessary in a reef tank?
