From what i saw it was hairy legged, its in the Fuge at the moment, but only 1 piece of LR in there so i know where he will be. I have no problem killing him, but the mrs might over rule me as usual and ill have to drive to the beach.

Title really says it all. Found him while i was cleaning off red algae, no idea how long he has been there for. Didn't want to take the risk of him being a "bad crab" and put him and the piece of LR in the Fuge. The crab itself is black/brown with white dots any ideas?

I should have mentioned that the DSB is in the Fuge. Only have about 1-1/12" of live sand in the tank itself.? Should still be ok ?

I have about 2-3kg of coral sand left over from when i made a DSB a couple weeks ago, i want to rearrange my LR. I was wondering can i put the coral sand in as well? I have fish and LR only tank. Water condition is spot on. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading

Well here it is all newly plumbed and just put the sand in. Got a good deal on fine crushed coral sand and made a DSB (deep Sand Bed), got a mate who's giving me some macro algae so im back in business.. Well once i fill it, waiting on RO lol.

Thanks all for you kind words. I did a water / seal check today only found 1 tiny pin hole leak. So plugged it and waiting another 24 hours to cure, before retesting the seals.

The shaft was covered in rust, im surprised it still went around, i mean the rust on the shaft was caked on. Im going to ring up the place where i got it and get them to fix or replace it or something as i have only had it for 5 months.

Oh i forgot to mention that i wont be covering the entire bottom pane, the crack only goes 1/2 across so i left about 1-2" on the other end (not the cracked side) for adjustments. So will the air be able to escape out that way?
