i agree with the water changes. i have found in my tank at least that you can kill it if you tried. it grew very quick (even in poor water conditions). sometimes it takes a few days to grow back and extend fully if its been roughed up or moved around. how large is the frag? they way not open as...

i just used the coke bottle method and it worked great. i had a red-spotted hawkfish that was causing problems with my inverts and lawnmower blenny. the bottle was in there for 10 minutes or so before he got trapped in it. just put some rocks or sand in it to weigh it down.

i never thought of that before. thats a very valid point, i would imagine that tank raised fish would have lost some of the instinctual drive that wild fish would still have. hopefully they'll take it anyways

well when i bought the snails they were listed as "baby" snails, but they do look like the picture of the smallest snail.....they look nothing like the big snail in the picture. However, the snails i had a few years ago were quite large but looked like the small snail too. i guess time will tell...

i floated the bag for about a half hour and added a cup of water to the bag every 15 minuutes or so....i did this 3-4 times, i forget to be honest....the snails seem to be doing fine now....some still find there way to the top of the tank but they arent pulling themsleves right out of the water...
