ive had bio balls for years now but have always had trouble with any corals that were not beginner level corals. I think that i will go to the lfs and see what they have to offer as rubble. thanks

what exactly is rubble rock? pieces of live rock, or crushed coral and where to get it my local lfs?

Above my bio balls I put some carbon and a few sponges and filters to catch debree, is this an ok idea or is it going to be problematic in the long run. I do this because I dont think that just a sump with a protien skimmer is sufficient filteration.

thanks for the input guys, just after i posted this I saw that screen video. I was also afraid of airborn contaniments, should i just not worry about that as long as i am careful spraying stuff around. Again thanks for replys, this was my 1ST post and you all answered promply.

My glass on top of my aquarium is always foggy, I can clean it and 1 day later it looks aweful. This has to lower the potency of my halide light hangin over the tank. Is it stupid to take my top glass cover off. The aquarium is built into an rarely used storage room. I worry about contaminants...
