Hey guys. I am running low on my artificial saltwater mix, and wont get more for a few weeks, would it be harmful to mix artificial saltwater and natural saltwater from petco in the same tank when it is cycling? Nothing is in there but live rock, will this kill the LR?

Currently I only have bioballs, my live rock doesnt ship until April 3rd. I was told on the TONMO forums that a wet/dry filtration would be the best option for an octopus.

I've just done some more research, and the place I was going to get the octo from is selling them for $16, but they retail at other places for $40, what is a good place for octos where I know I'm not going to get ripped off, as this price seems dangerously low.
