Acans being eaten by a red algae

I wasn't sure which forum to put this in: algae or corals. I have this reddish colored algae that is seemingly eating my acans one by one. I pulled two acan frags and dipped them in seachem reef dip followed by Revive. I then moved those two to a new tank and they seem to be recovering (they...

    Leather toadstool

Hello all. My tank has been stressing since I made the mistake of cutting a mushroom polyp off its rock while still in the tank. This poor leather was resting next to it. I've since cleaned the rock with salt mix (and washed) but this poor guy looks stressed. And my nitrates are still kind of...

Something attached to my button polyp

OK, I feel like I'm making daily posts looking for ID's now. Apologies. I found this thing attached to my polyp. I can't tell if it's eating the white thing or vice versa. Just didn't know if I should intervene. Did a google search and couldn't find anything similar. Anyone seen this before...

    Is this a bristle worm?

He's about 1" to 1-1/2" long. Never seen him before. Wondering if he's OK or should be removed. (I've read that bristle worms are OK.) Just need to verify. Thanks all!

    Can anyone ID this?

Bought this bubble coral from a LFS and just noticed this growth/eggs? I'm somewhat concerned that it's an unwanted pest laying in wait. Can anyone ID it? It's only been in my tank 2 days at this point. I did not dip the coral (just learned about this practice yesterday :D). Any help is appreciated!

White round fuzzy growths on live rock

Hello all! Quick intro...I've been around fresh water aquariums for over 20 years. I dabbled with some saltwater (worked at a LFS wayyy back in college) but was primarily fresh only. I only recently decided to move one of my tanks to saltwater after I grew tired of my cichlids eating each...
