soft /leather ?

this coral was way to small to stay in a cup because the current would take it away so i ended up using a rubber band and that didnt work since its slimy it just slipped out. i finally ended up super gluing it to a small rock. not sure if i put it upside down tho.
want to know what it is and will it grow if it wasnt glued right?

its hard to see, sorry pics are the best i could do with my phone. and it blends in with the rock as well but it is in the middle of the pic, brownish and bumpy. thanks

If it's a colt, it's not fully open yet. Just give it time. :) I can't really tell from the picture since it blends in with the rocks so well.

Bad news on the coral.... It came off the rock and I have no idea where its at...what would happen now. I don't think it will survive just blowing around will it? Or will it eventually stick somewhere and grow untill its big enough to find on day.

It could go either way, depends on the coral, where it blew to, etc

Well let's hope it finds it self a good spot and decides to live and grow.
