1st new coral !!

yeah... I hear that. I might start adding some zoos for the bottom to add color and I was looking at a couple trumpet corals and green star polyps.

Careful with the gsp Ray they grow like wildfire and can take over a system if left unchecked great looking shrooms and a rock with nice coraline to boot!

Yesterday the guy at the LFS asked why I was waiting so long to get corals (it's been six months and my first will probably be next month, then quarantined a month). When I told him I would rather go slow and do things right he mentioned he wished more people would take that approach.

Your doing it right:Cheers:

My mushroom corals seem to almost be reach towards the top off the tank. Should I raise then up more?? Also I am assuming that they will look different from time to time. I notice one wasn't full as normal.

I'd leave them closer to the bottom. To much light might cause them to stay closed more.
And its normal for them to look"not so full" at times.
