Anderson the 90 gallon in these pictures had 6 65watt power compacts!!!! But as of 2 weeks ago i put 2 175watt MH and 2 54watt t5's. WHAT A DIFFERENCE and those pics are to come soon

did you than remove the 6-65watts? Wondering if you did a cost comp on Led or if you could get enough light? The MH with heat and energy cost keep me away. Right now I have a 90 that I gave up on corals because the lights I got are not enough so going with FOWLR till I upgrade tank or $$ for lights. Thanks for the input.

dendro and blasto had for about 3 weeks got amazing deals on them. Mushroom rock is about 2 yrs

I did remove the power compacts competely. I got the MH for $150 used and they are awesome totally worth it. To replace the power compact bulbs was going to cost $35-40 bucks a bulb!!!! As for the heat issue i installed two 4inch fans directly behind the MH bulbs and the temperature in my tank has never gone above 79 degrees. The cost of the LED lights is through the roof so that was not even a option for me....
