A Couple Things

The first 3 pictures are some type of crab... I ordered a reef-cleaner pack from Reefcleaners.org and dumped in my snails... before I noticed, my husband was like "woah, look at that little guy" and then the crab went into an empty shell and disappeared until this afternoon...and I snagged him and put him in my sump.

He's TINY, he's smaller than a dime. Litterally. So, what is he? Is he good or bad, and what should I do with him?

I can't tell what his claws look like...but he's kind of a tannish color.

Next, these two photos are from a rock I got at my LFS, it had nothing living on it when I put it in the tank. A couple days ago, I noticed 1, what I think to be a feather duster, on the rock.. now there's a bunch. Am I right? If not, what are they? Good/Bad?

Next, is a photo off a rock. I've been noticing little white spots...I know the purple is Coralline... but what's the little white spots?

the first looks like a freshly molted hermit crab to me... the second things are feather dusters and very normal sign of good liverock/a healthy tank. the third, white spots are likely just coralline algae that died from exposure to air or something.

But I'm not so sure on the last pic with the white spots.Looks like they could be egg sacks from something.

He's been tan since we got him, though. I didn't quite get a good look at him when he wasn't in a shell... his legs are real long and skinny and they have stripes on them almost...

he's def a hermit crab, reef safe I'd assume. there aren't many hermits that aren't reef safe.

If it had tan legs with a stripe then it was probably this guy ReefCleaners.org | Clean Up Crews and Macro Algae - Thin Striped Hermit* he sent me a few of those with my last order too.

Thank you. He looks exactly like that. Now that I know what he is, I'll have to order some when I get my 180 set up.
