It is possible that your tank cycled seeing you used LR and LS. I would test my tank for to watch for a mini cycle.

Now that the cycle part is cleared up.:D
I'd just watch the tank for 3 or 4 weeks and see how it goes.With the sand and live rock,it is possible to not have a cycle at all.In which case,your good.
As for colorfull fish.Look at some of the smaller wrasses.Like the fairy and carpenter wrasses.Bright colors and active.

Hi and welcome!
As others have said, any type of tang is out. They need BIG tanks because they have to swim so much.
Check out firefish. There are red and purple firefish, and those would be good for your tank.
Maybe a few green chromis? They have a nice turquoise color.
Also, the sixline wrasse is very colorful.
Maybe a coral beauty or flame angel.
Those are the fish I'd recommend you look into.
