Reefing newb
i bought some power heads from a guy who used to have a salt water tank, they are used, my question is there is some hard pink stuff on them, he said one of the reasons he went to fresh water is because of this hard pink algea, can i use them in my tank. i was wondering if it might damage my tank. he said someone told him he got it because his water levels were to perfect,,,what ever that means. i only paid 5.00 each, so im not out anything, they are aqua clear 20's
