Another one bites the dust

how long did you have them before they died? have you ever noticed them molt? mine molts every 3-4 weeks. if you had them for a month or two and never saw them molt, then I would say that's the problem. but, in my opinion if you are doing regular water changes, and in sufficient amounts, there is no reason to dose iodine. unless you are using a brand of salt that is deficient in it.
 
I have never even heard of a shrimp dying due to lack of iodine. I never dose the stuff myself and haven't ever lost a shrimp unless a fish ate it. I have kept my blood shrimps for over a year and I have never dosed iodine. I hate to tell you this Salty, but it just could be bad luck. I think we have all had things just plain ol' die on us from time to time. Damn the hobby.

Yeah Doc, I was thinking the same thing. It could just be bad luck.

I even tested for copper, none was present. And even if there was copper wouldn't all of my snails have died too?
