beating a dead horse(live rock)

grozier

something smells fishy
I've read about the best way to do this, but lets bring it up again. I got some rock thats been out of water for a while ,but not so long thats it's completely dried to the nice white dry rock.
I rinsed the rocks out in water and found a emerald crab (dead) and many other things so I don't want to just stick it in the tank. I don't like long drawn out procceses because i'm lazy. I like the power wash and let it set outside deal, is this the best or easiest method?
Any other inputs would be nice. Also how do I get the green off the rock? scrubbing isn't working.

Blow torch or heat gun the rock, and then power wash it. The heat will kill any unwanted parasites.

You won't be able to get all the green of the rock. There's millions of, let's call them 'micro-holes' in the rocks. No matter how hard you scrub, it'll still be a little green. Why would you want to get rid of it anyway? It's bound to repopulate once it goes through the cycling process of your tank.
