Thinking about possibly buying a used tank 29 gallon biocube has live rock and sand had fish till yesterday per seller what shouldi be looking for.

i just did the same thing, bought it from a guy. filled a rubbermade tub with the live rocks and enough water to cover it. dumped the old sand and water. put new live sand and all new water in the tank and let it run, everything is doing great with minimal die off

Grab a few 5 gal buckets with lids to transport it. If you take the sand, rinse it very well in fresh water before putting back into tank.
