brittle star fish question

so i see two teeny tiny brittle starfish hanging out in my zoanthid frag colony.. they are making them close up sometimes.. are the starfish harming the zoanthids or just bothering them? and i am starting to get very little specs of algae on my glass.. this is good or bad? i plan on getting a magnet scrubber to take care of it but i was wondering if the algae is bad that it shows up... all my parameters are great. and my gsp is looking better than ever

The starfish are harmless and the zoas will be fine. Algae is normal in every tank, especially on the glass. You will probably have to clean your glass every few days.

The little stars are just getting food from between the polyps.

Don't worry with the brittle starfish, it won't harm you polyp. In contrary it is beneficial for the habitat for a tremendous scavenger that makes a great addition to your tank.

Agreed. I lost all of mine with the tank drain. :( I miss those little buggers.
