bulkhead suitable size

I plan to build 79" x 24" x 29" reef tank with two internal overflow and i want to install two Durso standpipes but I cannot decide the suitable size to the bulkhead ( drain & return) to my reef tank.

So, what do you think the suitable size of bulkhead ( drain & return) by using two overflow.

1.5" is a good size and you won't have a hard time finding the bulkheads or plumbing for that size.
