Quick question, I am hoping to finally get some coral tomorrow and was wondering what is the calcium and KH supposed to be in a reef tank?

unless you are getting sps corals - not really a major concern.
As long as you are above 400ppm Ca and between 8-12 dkh, you should be fine.

My calcium is 500-520 and the dkh is 9 -10

500 is a tad high you may want to cut back on any dosing.

Neno are you testing Ca. with API test ??? If so those test usually test high on Ca. i know mine did. i tested with API and got 520 and then tested at LFS and got 460 After that i got Elios Ca. Test kit and that also tested 450 This was about 3 to 4 days after the LFS tested.
