Is a 400 calcium a little on the low side for LPS corals?

I would say shoot for 450 but 400 is not going to harm them.
At least at 450 you have room for it to drop a little. Anything under 400 is starting to get a bit low.
Don't forget your Alk and Mag. Keeping your mag in check will allow your alk and calc to get high enough. Low mag and you won't be able to get the other two up to where they should be.

Yea stupid me forgot to get the darn mag test when I was at the LFS. Darn now I'm going to have to go back tomorrow and get it. I'm using Kent Marine which is suppose to have a mag around 1150-1250. My alk is 8.6.

Thanks. I'm still going to have to go back to Wichita tomorrow to get the mag test. I knew I needed to pick it up and completely spaced it off.
