Can a torch coral sting a starfish?

I have an orange linkia starfish that has been great for months.... today he found himself on the rock the torch coral is attached to.

He has been there ever since....never moving. Should I be worried?

Did the torch kill him?

Torches usually dont sting stuff inverts like starfish.
I'm betting your star just found something he likes to eat is taking his time eating it.
