I'm going to aqua-culture my own live rock. What kind of light do I need to grow coralline? I want the cheapest light that will still grow coralline? Would a cheap plant light from Home Depot work? Does coralline need a certain spectrum?
I have, over my 20G Long, a 36 watt canopy that includes: 72 watt total canopy includes: one 36 watt True Actinic 03 Blue straight pin and one 36 watt 10,000K Daylight straight pin. These bulbs are about the 16 inches long. With this lighting the coralline has grown like crazy. My LR is totally covered with pink coralline.
