Well as you all know the new tank is going up. Im doing everything on a budget, except for the skimmer. So far:
Sump 29 gal= $12
Everything Else= $100
Rock 50# = $40
I et up this little curing vat for the rock for my new system. I actually bought 2 buckets of dry rubble rock from the LFS to cure. i went this way so I can pack the sump with it and them take a few decent sized pieces for the display. Since it is a frag tank, I dont want a ton of rock in it anyway. To my suprise at the bottom of one of the buckets, were a few nice pieces of tonga rock. So far with skimmer and all, i might be able to get this thing going for $300.
I made this with all leftover equipment!
