chocolate chip star in refuge?

I have a chocolate chip starfish in my DT that I feed pretty regularly. Up until now (maybe because of regular feeding) I haven't noticed any problems with the couple of corals I have. From what I understand they can destroy corals, so I'm wondering...
I have a 10gal refuge in my sump that has maybe 20lbs of sand, some live rock rubble and chaeto. Being a refuge its pretty clean, not alot of algae or detrius. If I gave it a regular diet would it do OK in the refuge, or should I just give it away?

I'm with little fish, I think it would be fine as long as you feed it

Next time he comes up around the top I'm gonna snag him and put him in the refuge. I normally feed him chunks of krill...think I should add other kinds of food?

Variety is always good when feeding. Just feed him other meaty stuff, like silversides
