Cleaner Shrimp inside BTA

Is this a normal behavior? This is the first time ive seen him in there. Ive seen him try to take food out of it once when I was feeding the BTA, but this pic was taken when I didnt feed. Do cleaner shrimp actually clean BTA's?

They don't clean BTAs, but they often try to steal food from them. I bet you that's what's going on, maybe the shrimp thought it was eating something.

cross your fingers, I lost two cleaners to my BTA. they do enjoy eating them. I would feed away from the nem so the shrimp does not get used to getting so close, not a good idea

The BTA will only decide to eat that shrimp once.:mrgreen:
Shrimp are bad about taking food from anemones,and more often than not,the shrimp will get away with it.
Its just one of those freaks of nature.
