I used to have lizards
Lately I've noticed more and more of these clear sponge things, I think they may be a form of nuisance sponge. They're mainly growing on the underside of rocks or in shadows. Any idea what they are?

Stiff bristle tooth brush removes them with ease.

Yep, sponges...they are easy to remove. Try peeling them off with tweezers also.

They are filter feeders. They generally don't hurt anything.
