Clown Fish pair

I got a good deal on two clownfish at the LFS. Just any two.

The two I got seem to be almost identical size (one is just a tony amount larger than the other, but you wouldnt notice unless you really examined it) and they don’t look like juveniles since they are normal size. Is there any chance that they will pair up eventually? They do follow each other everywhere and sometimes I see both of them twitch. But they have been in my tank for less then a week.

Could they eventually pair or are they too mature for that now.

Thanks for any advice,

what if both happen to be female? will one still change sex? or there can only be one female in the whole tank full of clowns at the LFS?

Is there a way to know when the actual change has taken place? meaning if they do become a pair, will it be significantly more noticeable in their behavior?

yup. If you can, try to get a clearly larger and clearly smaller clown. There is a chance that they may not get along if they are the same size. add them both at the same time. Best of luck
