colt coral

hi i have a colt coral which is placed mid water in my tank and no other corals to close to him... just the last day or so he seems a paler colour in his base but all branches are moving lovely and are all open and a nice light brown colour ..... dont know if its just me thinking he has changed colour ???? but he just seems a little pale on the base of the coral
has good water movement
and has x4 t5 lighting x2 blue and x2 14000k white bulbs

They will typically be paler at the base, leathers also typically go through period phases where they will go flaccid or shed their outer mucus and look like crap for a day or two.
