What is spot on mean for ph? For instance, if my ac is on my ph is 8.01. If I leave my windows open, my ph is 8.33. Big differences and numbers help because we all know them. You shouldn't have t8 bulbs, the should be t5 unless you have a very old fixture. Double check, they require different current/ballast output. Keep up on water changes, keep those nitrates down.

I can remember when T-8 VHO was ALL there was . There was also a time when I had ALL of the Phillips Actinic 03 bulbs in the entire USA for about a month till the new ones got here, lol.

Do you leave any lighting on over night? I've now also got some t5 leds

12 hours max for lighting. I have my lights on at night when I'm home and off during the day.
