Copper ?'s

Ok if/when i ever get my tank up and running would treating with this be bad for my tank ? It says copper safe but on the active ingredients it has Chelated Copper Sulfate, just wondering b/c by the title i can see how someone can get confused, oh i have this b/c i dosed a freshwater qt tank long ago...

dont ever use anything with copper in it in a reef tank

The title is very misleading. Under no circumstances should you use that in your tank if you ever plan to keep any inverts. If you use it in your tank, even your rocks and sand will become contaminated and cannot be used in the future. Copper is safe to use in a quarantine tank.

Just dont put it in your main tank. If you have to treat something make sure its in a Quarantine tank so it wont contaminate your sand or anything like that. Once you put copper in your display tank all of your live rock is useless
