Coralife Aqualight Pro 72" HQI

I got a Coralife Aqualight Pro 72" HQI fixture from the old used set up i bought.

has 3x150W MH and 4x96 Watt PC's and some 1 W leds

anyone had any experience with this fixture? should be plenty of lighting to keep any kind of coral correct?

Oh i lied. they are 250 Watt MH's.

the salt was so encrusted i accidentally broke one of the glass plates covering one of the MH bulbs.. blah

obviously i have to get this replaced.. my question is i'm wondering if the glass is conditioned somehow to block out uv or some other wavelength that isn't beneficial to marine life? Or is it just plain old tempered glass?

It is supposed to block UV light. You wouldn't want your corals to get cancer, would you now?
